Frederica Carter NORCROSS, GA -- April 29, 2008 -- The industry’s first “WIN Cornerstone Award” was presented to Frederica Carter, communication manager for Akzo Nobel, during the recent Women’s Industry Network (WIN) association meeting held in Chicago, IL. The award, which will be presented annually, is given in recognition of outstanding leadership and support for the advancement of the collision industry and the WIN association.
Geralynn Kottschade, WIN Chairperson, in commenting on the award said, “This organization is really about mentoring and helping women succeed. Frederica does that both personally and professionally. She is one of those women who is always willing to go above and beyond for the cause.”
“I can’t say enough about this organization,” Carter said. “These are brilliant and enthusiastic women. Their passion, determination and commitment to the collision industry are contagious. I think their can-do attitude is what has enabled us to become so successful in just two short years. This is an enriching experience, and I would strongly encourage all women in the industry to become involved.”
“What the WIN organization has been able to achieve is a credit to our industry,” said Tim Loden, Director of Marketing for Akzo Nobel. “Akzo Nobel is privileged to be able to sustain our support as a pioneer in recognizing the valuable contributions that Frederica and others like her are making to our industry. We wish them continued success.” For more information on WIN, please click here.
