The collision centre began operations in 1997. Until recently the business operated under the name Mascotek CARSTAR Collision. The facility is owned by Frank and Bernice DiVito.

The decision to expand the shop was made because the facility was running at capacity and wanted to keep up with the growing demand.

The expansion itself was no small undertaking. Construction began in 2007, and meant turning a 5,000 sq. ft. shop into 17,000 sq. ft. It’s an impressive jump in size, but the expansion also involved installing new, state-of-the-art equipment, including Car Bench jig systems for frame repairs and TECNA spot welders to duplicate factory welds.
